Alfred
Our stay at Tackleway Privileged Sea Views Hastings Old Town Villa was absolutely wonderful. The location in the heart of the Old Town of Hastings was perfect, with narrow picturesque streets all around. The view from the top window was breathtaking, overlooking the seafront. The property itself was full of character, spread out over 4 floors, providing plenty of space without feeling overwhelming. The kitchen was well-equipped and the addition of a second toilet on the first floor was very convenient. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were very responsive. The fact that we could rely on public transportation, with the station being only a mile away, was a huge plus. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel.
The beds were a bit tired and creaky, and the bedrooms were very light with limited blinds. Some areas of the cottage could have been cleaner, with old post and rubbish found in cupboards and drawers.

I recently stayed at Tackleway Privileged Sea Views, a lovely character cottage in a great location. The house was well equipped and had Tilt & Turn windows, providing good views. It was in a quiet location and I had great communication with the owner. I especially liked the little backyard with access down a small alley for bike storage. The house is nestled on a picturesque cul de sac, which made unloading easy.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The beds were a bit tired, soft, and creaky. However, this added a nostalgic charm to our stay, like sleeping on a historic pirate ship with an adventurous twist!
Cleaning could be improved.

Superbly equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely character cottage in a quiet and quaint area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Close proximity to pubs, shops, cafes, and the seafront, offering plenty of activities such as canoeing. Great location in the heart of the old town, close to shops, cafes, and the seafront. The cottage had a charming and quirky atmosphere, with all the amenities needed for a short stay. The attic room with its cleverly designed window/balcony offered fantastic views.
The sofas were incredibly uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the space. Additionally, the noise from the neighbors during the weekend nights was quite disruptive and made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

I gotta say, I got a lot of bang for my buck at this place. The room was top-notch, with stunning views over the town and harbor. And the location couldn't be beat, right on the edge of the Old Town. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home.
Food for breakfast could use a little improvement, maybe some more variety or options.

We had a fantastic 3-day stay at Tackleway. The cottage is beautifully equipped with a superb kitchen and en-suite bathroom, as well as a loft room with breathtaking views over the trendy old town. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Crown pub and other local attractions. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-located, and offered views to die for. We would highly recommend Tackleway for a quaint and quiet holiday home experience.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
